The event will have the presence and support of the salmon industry, where SalmonChile joins as a \u201cGold\u201d sponsor.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Waiting List Foundation invites the regional community to participate in its next charity event: the Caf\u00e9 Concert, which will take place on Saturday, April 27 at La Cantina Bar, in Puerto Varas, Los Lagos Region. This event, in addition to offering a night full of entertainment and fun, has the main objective of raising funds to get people off the waiting lists. The event will have the presence and support of the salmon industry, where SalmonChile joins as a \u201cGold\u201d sponsor. Arturo Clement, president of the SalmonChile union, is also a member of the Foundation’s board of directors. Ventisqueros, a company dedicated to salmon farming, will also participate as a \u201cGold\u201d sponsoring partner. For its part, Salmones Austral will participate as a \u201cSilver\u201d sponsor. The Foundation hopes that more salmon farms will become members.<\/p>\n

The event will feature the participation of the prominent U2 tribute band \u201cLemon\u201d, and Pancho Germain’s stand up comedy show. In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy cocktails from the Cantina Bar, from Carmen Arismendi’s banquet shop. Every ticket sold will directly contribute to the foundation’s mission.<\/p>\n

“Our goal with this event is to bring the community together around a noble cause to help people with their postponed surgeries,” says Pilar Santamar\u00eda, executive director of the Foundation. \u201cWe hope everyone will join us in this initiative and help us make a difference in the lives of those who need it most in our region.\u201d<\/p>\n
