La Regata del Salmón reúne a miles de personas y fortalece la tradición náutica de Quellón

La ciudad de Quellón vivió un fin de semana inolvidable con la realización de la Regata del Salmón, llevada a cabo los días 30 de noviembre y 1 de diciembre. Este evento, que reunió a participantes de diversas localidades del país, congregó a más de 3 mil asistentes, consolidándose como una de las principales celebraciones náuticas de la región.

Organizada por la Escuela Náutica Nao Quellón, la Capitanía de Puerto de Quellón, la Capitanía de Puerto de Quellón y SalmonChile, y el patrocinio de empresas como Marine Farm, Salmones Austral, Yadrán, Invermar, AquaChile, Aquaterm, Oxxean, Cermaq y Asoducam Castro, la regata destacó tanto por su impecable organización como por su gran participación.

El representante territorial de SalmonChile, Pablo Moraga, destacó la relevancia de este evento para el gremio, señalando que «la Regata del Salmón no solo es una oportunidad para promover del deporte y la sana competencia del sur de Chile. Como gremio, creemos firmemente en la importancia de apoyar eventos que potencien la cultura local, el turismo y, por supuesto, la gastronomía regional. Durante este evento, tuvimos el honor de compartir con los asistentes nuestras deliciosas preparaciones de salmón, un producto de calidad mundial, saludable y sostenible, que forma parte esencial de la identidad de nuestra región».

Además de la competencia náutica, el evento ofreció una amplia gama de actividades para toda la familia. Los asistentes disfrutaron de stands interactivos, concursos y exquisitas preparaciones de salmón, destacando la oferta culinaria de foodtruck de SalmonChile.

«Estar presentes en la regata fue muy enriquecedor, ya que nos permitió estar en contacto directo con la comunidad, escuchar y resolver sus dudas y compartir nuestro producto a través de ricos ceviches. Nos llevamos la tarea de seguir trabajando en conjunto y seguir avanzando en sostenibilidad» enfatizó la encargada de Relacionamiento Territorial y Sostenibilidad de Salmones Austral, Yocelyn Fuenzalida.

Además, el jefe de Comunidades de Yadrán, Óscar Izurieta, expresó que «estamos muy felices de haber sido parte de la primera Regata del Salmón, un evento que llenó de alegría a Quellón con actividades para toda la comunidad y destacó el desarrollo del deporte náutico en la zona. Durante estos dos días, los vecinos fueron testigos del deporte náutico en donde los niños y jóvenes fueron protagonistas con los bellos paisajes de Quellón de fondo. A su vez, también disfrutaron del salmón de nuestra empresa, con deliciosos ceviches preparados por el reconocido chef Marcelo Torres, servidos desde el FoodTruck de SalmonChile».

Por su parte, Jeannette Bahamonde, jefa de Relacionamiento Comunitario de Marine Farm, valoró la participación de la empresa en esta actividad, destacando la buena acogida por parte de la comunidad. «Estamos muy felices de participar en esta actividad, que tuvo una muy buena acogida por parte de la comunidad, creo que es una gran oportunidad para nosotros como empresa y para la industria salmonera en general por el poder acercarnos a la comunidad de Quellón», afirmó.
