The city of Quellón experienced an unforgettable weekend with the Salmon Regatta, held on November 30 and December 1. This event, which brought together participants from various locations in the country, attracted more than 3 thousand attendees, consolidating itself as one of the main nautical celebrations in the region.
Organized by the Nao Quellón Nautical School, the Quellón Port Captaincy, the Quellón Port Captaincy and SalmonChile, and the sponsorship of companies such as Marine Farm, Salmones Austral, Yadrán, Invermar, AquaChile, Aquaterm, Oxxean, Cermaq and Asoducam Castro , the regatta stood out both for its impeccable organization and for its great participation.
The territorial representative of SalmonChile, Pablo Moraga, highlighted the relevance of this event for the union, pointing out that “the Salmon Regatta is not only an opportunity to promote sport and healthy competition in southern Chile. As a union, we firmly believe in the importance of supporting events that promote local culture, tourism and, of course, regional gastronomy. During this event, we had the honor of sharing with attendees our delicious salmon preparations, a world-class, healthy and sustainable product. what shape essential part of the identity of our region”.

In addition, the head of Yadrán Communities, Óscar Izurieta, expressed that “we are very happy to have been part of the first Salmon Regatta, an event that filled Quellón with joy with activities for the entire community and highlighted the development of nautical sports. in the area. During these two days, the neighbors witnessed the nautical sport where children and young people were protagonists with the beautiful landscapes of Quellón in the background. At the same time, they also enjoyed the salmon. of our company, with delicious ceviches prepared by the renowned chef Marcelo Torres, served from the SalmonChile FoodTruck”.
For her part, Jeannette Bahamonde, head of Community Relations at Marine Farm, valued the company’s participation in this activity, highlighting the good reception by the community. “We are very happy to participate in this activity, which was very well received by the community.
