The event held in Puerto Aysén had a positive balance, which offered more than 150 job openings, organized by the Seremi of Labor and Social Welfare together with Sence, with a focus on the aquaculture, fishing sector and service-providing companies.

In the Plaza de Puerto Aysén, in the IND Gymnasium, the Litoral – Labor Labor Fair was held, organized by the Seremi of Labor and Social Welfare together with the National Training and Employment Service, Sence, aquaculture, fishing and agricultural companies and unions. service providers.

The activity was self-managed by the teams of the Seremi de Trabajo y Previsión Social, Sence, OMIL of the Municipality of Aysén and the Municipality of Coyhaique with the support of the Delegation of Aysén, in coordination with SalmonChile, the Salmon Council and the participating companies. , among them; AquaChile, Frío Sur, Mowi, Blumar, Oxxean, Australis SeaFood, Salmones Austral, MultiX and CITECMA.

Communal, provincial and regional authorities participated on the occasion, commenting the Provincial Delegate of Aysén, Jorge Díaz Guzmán, “We are very happy as the Government of the success of this job fair, here in Puerto Aysén, because we have brought together the public sector, the private sector and the academy, which I believe is the perfect mix to face the development of a province, a region and in this case, also a commune. This job fair brings together precisely those actors, on the one hand, there is the State CFT, on the other hand, there is the entire work team and the aquaculture, fishing industry and service providers, and that means that the development of Aysén is confronted better way, with opportunities for both companies and people looking for work.

We will continue to carry out these types of initiatives that also promote the development of the region and that also have an important link as a public-private axis, which has been promoted by the Government of President Gabriel Boric so that families, so that people “They can have greater job offers and, with this, also of course improve their quality of life.”

As Seremi Paulina Ruz mentioned, in the subsequent balance of the fair, more than 150 job offers were registered, nearly 200 people attended the gym as an audience, mostly young people and women. In addition, Sence met 46 work-related bonus requirements, Women’s Work Bonus (BTM) and Youth Employment Subsidy (SEJ).

Regarding the focus of the fair, which is the first of its kind with a focus on the aquaculture sector, fishing and coastal service providers in public-private linkage, the Regional Director of Sence, Nelson Garrido, stated, “We are very happy with the result of this Litoral – work fair. Several companies, a very good call and this relationship between the public sector, with the Ministry of Labor and Sence, with the aquaculture sector and the fishing sector. We are very happy because we have been able to identify what the need is, to be able to specify these fairs, we already did it with the MOP at the time, with the Construction Fair and today we are doing it with this productive sector. People arrive more empowered, they know what specific positions are being given and we find a much clearer and more possible match between the employer and the worker.

One of the attendees was Mario Leal, who thanked the event “It’s interesting, so that people in the area can have more work.” Mario also took the opportunity to learn about the careers at the Aysén State CFT, seeing the possibility of continuing his studies and improvement.

Public services and community support stands also participated in the Litoral-Trabajo Fair, including the Labor Directorate, the Migration Service, the Administrator of the Unemployment Fund (AFC), OMIL, the Labor Observatory, the Aysén State CFT and ChileValora.
